Ravyn is a tall, very elegant filly with 3 excellent elastic gaits. Ravyn has a exemplary temperament and is well handled. We feel that she is an ideal show prospect as she is intelligent along with showing a wonderful work ethic. The American Hanoverian Society judges mentioned that they liked her head, neck and movement.
Sire, Rotspon is another top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with great rideability, outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. He also has a good jumping technique which is highly above average. He is an elegantly made sire in a noble black coat with a lot of expression and appearance. The first offspring of Rotspon were born in the year 2000. The foals have beautiful heads and good conformation (long sloping shoulder, long well set up neck). They are equipped with a very elastic trot, a ground covering walk and have been very much in demand. At the prestigious Ratje Niebuhr-Show of 2002, Rotspon was the second most successful sire represented with only his first crop. Both the two and three year old classes were won by his daughters, with the two year old becoming the youngest champion in the show's history. Rotspon has begun creating his own branch of the Rubinstein I dynasty with many approved sons and daughters, as well as high-priced auction horses and stellar performance horses. In 2005, Rotspon received a Breeding Value Index of 155 points, with an assurance of 97% heritability, from the German Equestrian Federation.
Dam, Wega Mona is a 16.1 hand, black Oldenburg mare bred by Judy Yancey. She was Reserve Champion Non-Hanoverian mare at her AHS inspection with an overall score of 7.16. As a weanling at Pennock Point Sporthorses for the Cosequin/USDFBC Qualifier Competition Mona won her class and scored an impressive 81.5 from Judge Jos Sevreins! She was also named Reserve Champion Filly.....highly unusual for a weanling to earn that title. She was Premium awarded by the German Oldenburg Verband and received high accolades. She was trained through 2nd level. Her dam stems from perhaps the most successful and well known dam line in Oldenburg. Her dam line can be traced to the 1800's. The Weissena mare line is cherished by breeders and produces excellent riding horses of a compact, supple frame with excellent work ethics.
Damsire, Don Schufro hardly needs an introduction to dressage breeders across the world. He has led the FN 5 years running for most important dressage producing stallion. His competition results are equally impressive. In 2006, Don Schufro won the Grand Prix in Bremen and the World Cup qualifier at Vilhelmsborg, had several high placings at the shows in Neumuenster, Bremen, Lingen, CHIO in Aachen and at the German Masters in Stuttgart. He was the dressage winner in the material test in Adelheidsdorf , Germany, with 154.93 points. A living legend - which still delivers top results! For the 10th time the no. 1 in the breeding value estimation in Germany! No. 9 on the WBFSH list for dressage stallions in 2014. Danish Champion and Olympic bronze team winner in Hong Kong 2008!
