Brohdi's sire, Hangon Johnny was the winner of the 2 year old colt class at the 1990 Irish National Show. His full sister named Madden Lady was the 1987 All Ireland Champion Foal, 1998 All Ireland Champion Filly and a Millstreet Qualifier in 1989. Hang On Johnny was an imported approved Irish Draught stallion standing at 16.3HH. He was very harmoniously put together. Lovely set neck going into the wither, nice shoulder with excellent shoulder freedom. Very powerful hind end coming under easily, straight clean legs with a good amount of bone, and excellent feet. Hang On Johnny had competed successfully in Show Jumping, Eventing and Dressage. The Hang On Johnny offspring have proven themselves in dressage and eventing successfully.  More importantly, they are being successfully trained and shown by their amateur owners who are often junior riders.
